Recent rumors suggests that AC Milan striker Ibrahimovich might be out for weeks due to his ankle injury. Being a Milanista this news was horrifying. To tell you the truth i could not sleep in the night thinking which player truly holds the skill in the currrent Milan squad to cut-pass with the defenders with ace and put the ball in the back of the net. Thankfully, Ibrahimovich today disclosed that he won’t be adding his name on the Reserves or Substitutes list and will be very much fit to start the Serie A season with a bang.
As spoken to acmilan.it “At one point I twisted my ankle but I really wanted to stay on the pitch as the crowd was fantastic, I couldn’t go on though after an hour”. Ibrahimovich twisted his leg during a friendly played between Milan and Malmo.
He further adds “The ankle really hurts at the moment, but the doctor has told me that it’s not too serious.”
Milan will defend their title from 28th of August. With new signings like El Shaarway, Taiwo, Mexes and Mister ‘X’ (Yet to be revealed by Galliani) hope they continue to dominate in Italy and adding their 9th Champions League Trophy to their ‘Trophy Cabinet’.
Forza Milan!
