Karbonn mobiles, one of the major players in Indian mobile handsets, has signed up as the title sponsors of SAFF Championship 2011 to be held in New Delhi, India from 2-11 December 2011.
Karbon mobiles was set up as a joint venture in March 2009 and have established themselves as a brand name in a very short time. Their main consumer target is the budget conscious population and is quite popular among that strata.
The company has previously associated itself with many other tournaments and events. They were official sponsors of Champions League T20 and Indian Premier League. They also had sponsored Star Screen Awards.
SAFF Championship 2009 in Bangladesh was sponsored by Beximco.
