In a goodwill gesture, the Indian embassy in Kathmandu donated a team bus for the Nepal football team. On the occasion of the 66th Independence day, Indian ambassador to Nepal Mr. Jayant Prasad handed over the keys to the ANFA vice-president Mr Narendra Shreshtha.
The 32-seater Eicher Skyline bus will help the Nepal team and academy players in movement, said ANFA and they thanked the Indian embassy for their support to football in Nepal.
Mr Shreshtha said that he expects more help from the embassy in the future.
Nepal senior football team is participating in the Nehru Cup 2012 from 22nd August onward.
