Bangladesh football team’s coach Lodewijk De Kruif has announced a 21-member squad for the team that will represent in SAFF Championship 2013 football tournament.
Along with the assistant coach Rene Koster, De Kruif selected the following squad:
Goalkeepers: Mamun Khan, Shahidul Alam Sohel, Biplob Bhattacharjee
Defenders: Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Waly Faisal, Md. Linkon, Raihan Hasan, Ariful Islam, Atikur Rahman Mishu.
Midfeilders: Mamunul Islam, Jamal Bhuiyan, Omar Faruk Babu, Sohel Rana, Zahid Hossain, Mobarak Hossian Bhuiyan, Monaem Raju.
Forwards: Zahid Hasan Emily, Shakahwat Hossian Rony, Toklis Ahmed Wahed Ahmed and Mithun Chowdhury
Surprisingly, in spite of inviting 3 foreign based footballers for the camp, the Dutch coach is sticking with only one of them, Jamal Bhuiyan
Bangladesh football team will start their SAFF Cup campaign on 31st August against hosts Nepal.
