In a meeting at the AIFF that involved I-league clubs, AIFF, IMG-R and Ten Sports representatives, it was decided that only 75 matches (less than half) of the I-league 2013-14 will be telecast on Ten Action channel.
It was also decided that 15 matches from the Federation Cup 2013-14 will be beamed live. The committee also discussed various aspects of marketing the I-league. The I-league kicks off on 21st September and there is very little time to do a proper marketing.
Indian football will never improve like this.
In developed countries like Britain every match in the 2nd division football leagues is also live telecasted
