Sony Six has bagged its biggest ever sports property with FIFA World Cup 2014 and FIFA World Cup 2018 live telecast rights going to their kitty.
This adds to a lot of football events that are already with them, which includes UEFA Euro Cup 2016 and UEFA Euro 2020, FIFA Confederation Cup Russia 2017, FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 and 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
FIFA World Cup 2014 will be held in Brazil from 8th June to 8th July and all the matches can be watched live and exclusive on SONY SIX and SONY SIX HD.
We are thrilled to have acquired the broadcasting rights of the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and 2018. Popularity of football is growing in the country, and with India bagging the rights to host the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017, the interest levels are only going to go up. We have focussed extensively on top international football and we are now proud to bring the best in the world to Indian viewers.
