According to our close sources FC Goa have offered their former player Jofre Mateu González with a coaching role. The Spaniard will likely coach their reserves in the Goa Premier League along with Gavin Aurojo.
The former FC Barcelona midfielder had won the inaugural Indian Super League with Atletico De Kolkata before shifting sides for FC Goa were he spent the next two seasons scoring 6 goals including one from a free kick in the 2015 ISL finals which they eventually lost
The club has reportedly also hired former Pune FC analyst Sujay Sharma as head of recruitment and Jofre would also be helping him out with the foreign recruitment
