A spectacular strike from Toni Kross in the 95th minute took Germany to their first victory in 2018 FIFA World Cup. He initially played a small pass to Marco Reus to change the angle before curling the ball into the corner.
Earlier Sweden took the lead in 32nd minute through Ola Toivonin in the first half. Marco Reus equalised earlier in the second half. Germany dealt a blow when they were down to 10 men after Jerome Boateng was sent off in the 85th minute. But Germany won the game after Durmaz conceded a clumsy free-kick.
