East Bengal Football School of Excellence to be launched

East Bengal Football Club is going to launch an ambitious East Bengal Football School of  Excellence in collaboration with RM Sportstainment. This school would be first of its kind in Indian football according to the club secretary Kalyan Majumdar.

The students will get a chance to learn and be evaluated under a UEFA Pro licence coach Amir Alagic. He has formerly been the chief coach to the national football team of Brunei. He had also been coach to  VfL Osnabrueck, Germany in 2006 and Al Nasser Football Club, Kuwait in 2007-08. He had also been an instructor in Nike Soccer Academy LA for a while.

Our aim is to provide international quality training based on modern scientific methods like psychometric assessment, sessions on sports science & nutrition and theoretical analysis of historic matches with on field implementation

The school will train kids divided in 3 different age groups, 9-12 years, 12-15 years and 15-18 years. The tentative date of launch is 24th April 2012. The admission forms will be available on the official club website www.eastbengalfootballclub.com and can also be obtained from the club tent from 24th March onward.

All the activities will be organized in the club home ground. RM Sportstainment is the company who is responsible for carrying out this project and organize international tours.

The coaching panel will be introduced on 20th April 2012.
