All the matches of Nehru Cup 2012 football tournament can be watched live on either Neo Sports or Neo Prime. This is for the first time that Indian Football will be live on Nimbus group’s channel.
Earlier 2 editions of Nehru Cup post revival were produced and telecast by the Ten Sports group.

Neo Sports has recently rebranded its cricket oriented channel Neo Cricket as Neo Prime to cover all sports after losing the rights to broadcast Indian cricket team’s home matches and domestic cricket tournaments.
Neo Sports and Neo Prime have also the experience of broadcasting Euro 2012 and have produced cricket matches for years as Nimbus Production. The had also arranged live stream of Euro 2012 via istream.com
The deal is said to be worth Rs 5-10 million for all the 11 matches.
Nehru Cup involves Cameroon, Syria, India, Maldives and Nepal. Each team will play on round robin basis and the top 2 teams will play out the final.
Next target of AIFF should be to get a title sponsor. This should be less of a problem as now they have a premium broadcaster on-board.
