Salgaocar FC, along with Salcete FC are organizing an All Goa U-13 Football Tournament in association with Bank of India, Canara Bank and Syndicate Bank. The tournament will be held on the 23rd and 24th Of February 2013, at PJN Stadium (outside Ground) in Fatorda; the objective being the promotion of youth football in Goa and to encourage schools to develop students’ interest and involvement in the game.
The Tournament is open to all schools and Clubs, however only school going children born on or after 01-01-2000 are eligible to participate in this tournament. A maximum of sixteen boys’ teams will be accepted for participation in the tournament on a first-come-first serve basis.
The winners and runners-up teams will be presented with various special prizes besides trophies and participation certificates. Individual prizes will be given for Man of the tournament, Best Striker, Best Goal Keeper, Best Defender and Best Midfielder.
All participating teams will be given a participation certificate and a football for the team.
Entry forms can be collected from Salcete Football Club (c/o of Gemini Stores, Next to Fatima Convent, Margao) or from Salgaocar Football Club (c/o Salgaocar House, Dr. Francisco Luis Gomes Road, Vasco-Da-Gama).
