In a dramatic turn of events, Nicky Butt and Mikael Silvestre, the two high-profile footballers are all set to join the Dodsal FC team for 2nd Division I-league it seems.
According to a source, the two players are arriving today on the Mumbai airport.
Dodsal FC will be playing in 2nd Division I-League. Owned by Mr. Kalichand, an industrial conglomerate based in UAE, the club has set its target to join I-league the next season.
But their squad was depleted as a lot of players had to leave for Santosh Trophy Maharashtra team. Just in the nick of time, Dodsal have bolstered their squad with these two experienced players.
Nicky Butt is a former EPL player having played for Manchester United (1992-2004) and Newcastle United . He last played for South China FC in the Chinese Premier League in 2011. He plays as a defensive midfielder and is currently 38 years old.
Mikael on the other hand is a former French International, Manchester United and Arsenal star. He has also played for Internazionale and Werder Bremen. 35 year old Mikael last played for Werder Bremen in 2010.
