FC Pune City have announced the arrival of 2016 Indian Super League’s top scorer Mercelinho. They have further strengthened their squad by signing spanish defender Rafael Lopez who has played over 100 games in the La Liga.

According to reports 22 year old forward Thiago Santos will go on a 7-month loan to Mumbai City from Brazilian club Flamengo. The youngester is highly rated by the fans and this might well turn out to be the signing of the season.

Chennaiyin FC has completed the signing of 32 year old Spanish winger Jamie Gavilan. He played for ATK in 2015 Indian Super League and registered most crosses in the league.But Galvian lately hasn’t been at his best,He could only manage 52 minutes of game time in South Korean 2nd division this year.

East Bengal has signed Katsumi Yusa from arch rivals Mohun Bagan. He spent 4 years with the mariners helping them win I-League and Federation cup. Yusa also captained Mohun Bagan last season.

FC Goa have completed the signing of 33 year old Spanish winger Manuel Lanzarote. He came through youth ranks of FC Barcelona and has also played for Espanyol, Eibar and Zaragosa.

Kerala Blasters have completed the marquee signing of former Manchester United and AS Monaco Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov. The 36 years old last played for Greek club PAOK. The club had also signed former united and England center back Wes Brown.

But the most headline grabbing news was Indian no 1 goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu’s shocking return to India after spending the last 3 seasons at Norway Stabaek. Gurpreet made his debut for Bengaluru FC in the AFC Cup tie against April 25.
